Coach Apples (Team Coach Xcel Gold and TOPS) Coach Apples is from Chicago, Illinois where she was a gymnast for 18 years, she earned a full athletic scholarship to Illinois State University. Where she dual majored in Human Resource Management & Organizational Leadership. She has 15 years of coaching experience, 6 years in the head coach or co-head role. Over the course of coaching JO gymnastics she completed her MBA. During this time she had many teams win state titles as well as coaching individuals to state, regional, and national championship titles. She previously held the TOPs Coordinator where she had national qualifiers and camp invitees. She has 12 years of choreography experience with State, Regional, and National title routines.“My favorite events are Bars and Floor because I find them to be the most complex in their own way, and I love the challenge.”
